PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA UNDER ARTICLE 12 ET SEQ. OF EU REGULATION 679/2016
This document provides information on the processing of personal data carried out by us pursuant to Article 13 or Article 14 of European Regulation 679/2016 concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data ("GDPR"). It constitutes our reference Privacy Policy and supplements any more concise policies provided in specific contexts for reasons of space and/or relevance. This text is updated regularly.
Pursuant to the new EU Regulation 679/2016 and in compliance with the principle of accountability, any processing of personal data must be lawful and fair. The processing must be transparent for data subjects, showing how personal data is collected, accessed, or otherwise processed, and to what extent it is or will be processed. The principle of transparency requires that information and communications relating to the processing of such data be easily accessible and comprehensible, using clear and plain language. This principle specifically concerns informing the data subject of the identity of the Data Controller, the purposes of the processing, and additional information (cf. Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR) to ensure fair and transparent processing with regard to the data subjects and their rights to obtain confirmation and communication about personal data processing (see Recital 39, GDPR).

EAT VOILA – VAT No. 01659730087 – email: info@eatvoila.it, as joint data controllers pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679, inform the data subject that the personal data concerning them, collected by the joint controllers or subsequently requested and/or communicated by third parties, will be used for the purposes listed below.
PURPOSE AND LAWFULNESS OF PROCESSING
According to Regulation (EU) 679/2016:

personal data must be processed lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject (Art. 5);

personal data must be collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes (Art. 5).
The purposes for which data is collected include:

to fulfill legal obligations under civil, tax, accounting, etc., laws, for administrative management of any relationship established with Davide Paolino, and for our legal protection;

to fulfill contractual obligations, delivery/return of goods, technical and support information, after-sales service, and satisfaction assessment for products of interest;

to conduct market and statistical research, carry out marketing activities, send offers relating to products covered by Eat Voila;
-
to communicate/send commercial information about initiatives, product announcements, services, and offers from Eat Voila via email, newsletters, SMS, or by post.
PROCESSING METHODS AND CONFIDENTIALITY OBLIGATION
Data processing is carried out using IT tools and/or paper media by individuals bound to confidentiality, with logic strictly related to the purposes and in a manner ensuring the security and confidentiality of the data. The data will also be processed using automated systems including software, management tools, and other programs that assist us in executing the above activities, including marketing.
DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES
Your personal data may be disclosed to known third parties only and exclusively for the above purposes and, in particular, to the following categories of recipients:

external companies providing services on our behalf;

entities and public administrations to fulfill legal obligations;

professionals supporting us in compliance activities;

service/product providers, e.g., for processing credit card and payment data, shipping, delivery, hosting, data management, email dispatching, product promotion, research and analysis, and management of specific services.
When we disclose data to third parties, we enter into agreements requiring them to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. These third parties will process the personal data as external processors.
DATA RETENTION PERIOD
Pursuant to Article 5 of Regulation (EU) 679/2016, “Principles relating to the processing of personal data,” personal data shall be stored in a form that permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data is processed. Personal data may be stored for longer periods in compliance with legal obligations (e.g., accounting) and with the implementation of technical and organizational measures to ensure data anonymization. Data will be kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes and deleted promptly upon simple request to info@eatvoila.it.

Pursuant to the applicable legislation, the data subject may exercise their rights toward each of the joint data controllers as provided by Regulation (EU) 679/2016:
